Great News!

Julie and Jeff Weber have agreed to be the MN Team Leaders for Operation Outcry! I have been praying for this for 2 years! That God would raise up His people to help others into abortion recovery and gather declarations and join me in the fight! I look forward to what God has planned.

CCF

My husband Patrick made the banner and the board. Thank you!
My friend Tracy who came out for Operation Outcry and the Bella Hero Project.

The Christian Community Fair was awesome! I met so many amazing people and made quite a few contacts in the Twin Cities! This introverted girl is still trying to process it all.

The Retreat

The weekend retreat was amazing!! God took some very vulnerable, scared postabortive women and made them radiant!! Rachel's Vineyard retreats are spirit filled and scripture rich. I am so thankful that God in His wisdom has shown me the direction I am to go. I am so excited that soon and very soon I will be a certified facilitator! I realize that I can gather declarations for Operation Outcry and love letters for the book as well. Perfect.
I wish that every pro abortion politician, including our president could have been in the room as we shared our abortion stories! There are no words to describe the horror that my newfound friends have endured in the lies of "choice." I am amazed that they survived. We laughed as much as we cried and it is an honor to bear one another's burdens. God is faithful and will restore our wasted years. He redeems the pain we have suffered. He is the lifter of our heads.

Thank you to Laura, Robin, Sheri, Nikki, Sue and Renee. I love you, sweet sisters.

Healing

There is a place within a woman no man has ever known.
A place touched only by God
And a few brave souls
With healing hands
And prayerful hearts
Who dare to journey with her and rock her gently
Leading her back to herself.
-Kathleen

The Event

I denied, your very existence
Buried it, the EVENT deep within
Hid the pain, the hurt, the torment.
Buried me, my worth, my essence
And my body cried.
And I did not understand the tears
The wound was deeply entombed
The pain; A hole in my soul
I sought answers to my despair
A way out of the darkness
I looked deep down inside and excavated
the EVENT
An ending, an aborted life
This was a legal act.
Not moral, not ethical, not JUST
Guilt, shame, a violation.
A death. An ending!
I confronted The Event, the sin
I acknowledged you, Your Life
You existed, child of God
I gave you a name, I mourned your loss
I asked for forgiveness of you, God
Myself
I gave you to God
And placed myself in His hands.
He repaired my soul
And granted me peace, mercy
And Wisdom

Book Project

I am seeking submissions for a book-a book of letters from mothers who have aborted to their lost children. The purpose of the book is to allow mothers to express their grief and love, and to demonstrate the very real pain and loss caused by abortion.

I would gratefully welcome your contributions. The book will be made available worldwide through Amazon.com, and I have a commitment from a donor to distribute 1,000 copies to pregnancy resource centers and related organizations. Contributors will also receive a free copy of the book.

If you are interested in participating in this project, please observe the following guidelines:

1. Limit your letter to 200-250 words.

2. Name your child if you have not already done so.

3. You may sign your letter Love, Mommy or I love you, Mommy. Include also your name or initials and the year or exact
date of your abortion.
Example I love you, Mommy
Carla, Abortion September 5, 1990

4. You may submit more than one letter if you have had multiple abortions.

5. A submitted letter may or may not be included in the book, depending on adherence to the guidelines.

6. Please send all letters to Carla Stream PO Box 1418 Hudson, WI 54016 You may also submit letters via email. carlastream@gmail.com Include your return address.

7. Once submitted, all love letters will become property of Carla Stream and will not be returned.

Upcoming Events

On Tuesday, October 13th Dan Rather will be addressing a Planned Parenthood banquet in Minneapolis. I will be there to stand outside and be a voice against the nations largest abortion business.

40 Days for Life
I would like to get over to Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN to pray with others. Last year Regions committed 731 abortions in its "GYN Special Services" unit. Regions also trains medical students to perform abortions.

October 23-25th I will be attending Rachel's Vineyard. I will be in training to become a facilitator. I am so excited! I have a heart for women who are longing for hope and healing after abortion.

Nov 14-15th is the Christian Community Fair. I have secured a booth for Operation Outcry and will be telling others about the declarations that are used in pro life legislation. I am hoping to make many new contacts in MN!! Operation Outcry is in need of a MN State Team Leader. 10,000 people usually attend this weekend event.

Desperation

No one wants an abortion as she wants an ice-cream cone or a Porsche. She wants an abortion as an animal, caught in a trap, wants to gnaw off its own leg. Abortion is a tragic attempt to escape a desperate situation by an act of violence and self-loss.

Make Your Voice Heard

Operation Outcry is continuing to spread the word about declarations. More and more men and women are filling them out to describe how abortion hurt them. The declarations are used in prolife legislation.

Here is a CitizenLink video from Focus on the Family.

Write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper. Sample letters here.

No matter what your views are on abortion, you shouldn't ask people to use their tax dollars if they think abortion is taking a life.

Parade Thoughts

I brought a stroller to the parade. It would not be holding a child but maybe a couple bottles of water and some bags of candy. My son Joshua told me that maybe it was supposed to be empty for Aubrey, his sister that was aborted.

Joshua found another 12 year old boy marching with us. The boy told my son that he was there for the candy. Joshua said, "I'm here for my mom."

Next year I would really love to see more Moms and Dads and kiddoes. Also will be looking into blowing up some 4D ultrasounds to carry as banners and maybe CHOOSE LIFE on our tshirts.

I loved seeing all of people that clapped, waved, cheered and hollered for us!!

Parade

The banner for the River Falls Pregnancy Helpline says Hold the Hand of the Future. Support the Choice of Life.
There's me waving. My daughter is next to me and my son is in the tan shorts.
My daughter Sarah, passing out candy to her younger brothers.

WI Abortion Rate

This is very good news for the state of Wisconsin and yet it still breaks my heart that 8,229 WI babies were aborted last year. 8,229 too many.

I will be the last guest speaker for the year on Sunday night, May 3rd. Latte is the Women's Ministry at my church, Faith Community of Hudson, WI.

Bella on Campus

I was invited to the University of St. Thomas by the Student Prolife group to show the movie Bella. I enjoyed meeting a younger generation of prolife warriors!! I told them about the Bella On Campus project, the Bella Hero project, Operation Outcry and a little about my abortion story. I had a good time back in college!

Community Health Fair

I had a blast at the Health Fair at UW-River Falls with the Pregnancy Helpline!! Students were amazed at the fetal models and the video we showed of life in the womb. Be amazed at the truth, people!!

Sweet Baby

This blog has stirred my soul. Baby Faith Hope was diagnosed with anencephaly and mommy gave birth to her and she is thriving. Doctors seem baffled that this baby is even alive without much more than a brain stem. I check it so often and stand amazed at the work of His hands.

UPDATE
Baby Faith Hope went home to the Lord on Saturday, May 23rd. She lived 93 days although doctors had only given her a few hours. What a miracle baby! Please pray for Mommy Myah as she grieves her precious daughter.

SNM- Good Friday

I love the pink Planned Parenthood protest background.

Think Purple

There is now a Purple Envelope Project. With 2 million red envelopes getting to The White House and Obama not saying a word about it, it is time to put our money where are envelopes are. Please send one dollar in a purple envelope to the addresses of CareNet provided on the blog. We can help Pregnancy Care Centers do what they do best. Helping women choose life for their children!! If you are on Facebook, please consider joining.

Good Friday Prayer Vigil

Planned Parenthood, Ford Parkway St. Paul, MN

Please notice the peaceful and prayerful "anti-choice extremist protestors." The only protesters were from Planned Parenthood on Good Friday. They yelled and screamed whenever some car honked. They brought out their signs that said I heart PP and even had some signs with coat hangers on them. Nice. Rumor has it they are all college students that were bribed with a free Subway sub to come out and yell for a while on a Friday afternoon.

No Thank You

Yesterday was Thank your Abortion Provider Day. Maybe you missed it. It's ok. I wouldn't have thanked him even if I could have. He never gave me his name or even talked to me for that matter. I spent a couple of hours here. Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN does abortions.

PP

Make no mistake about it, Planned Parenthood is the nation's largest abortion provider. Last year they killed 289,750 babies. They received 336.7 million of OUR money in federal, state and local tax funding annually. Oh, and they want more!!
They are not about family planning or planning your parenthood. They are about promoting sexual promiscuity to children through their website and their programs in public schools, pushing birth control and "comprehensive, safe sex" and promising to "help" clean up the messes our young people make by offering them abortion as the solution. They are a business. Abortion is big business! It's time people stop thinking of abortion as "reproductive health care." It's time we seek to defund Planned Parenthood.
Find out how.

Any organization that gives to Planned Parenthood supports abortion. The killing of the most defenseless among us. If you know that an organization gives to Planned Parenthood and you donate to that organization then you support that killing as well.

The Pressure Is On

The fight does continue here in Wisconsin over the facility that would do late term abortions. So far, 15,000 petitions have been filled out in opposition. Here's more.

Redemption

It is such a privilege and an honor to walk with women who have chosen to give life to their babies. To reach out to them with support and help and friendship and do all of the things for them that I wanted someone to do for me back then. God is so good.

Thoughts

It was wonderful to see so many of my Operation Outcry ladies again!!! I miss them so much when we are not together! I also got a chance to meet quite a few new people. They love me before they meet me and I do the same. When you share abortion regret there is an instant bond. A knowing of what someone has already been through.
I was excited to hear the speakers at the rally before The March. I heard Jim Sensenbrenner from WI. Congressman I think. I will have to write him a thank you card. The crowd was enthusiastic and responded louder and louder with each speaker.
Father Frank Pavone and some students from Christendom College held the March for Life banner. Silent No More Awareness was next. These women hold signs that say I Regret My Abortion. Operation Outcry followed them with Abortion Hurt Me signs. Being at the front was amazing. I was thrilled to march with so many people who share the same passion. There were crowds on either side of the streets and they clapped and cheered for us. Many took our pictures and were filming. One woman shouted out, "God's mercy on you! God's mercy on you!" A man yelled, "Precious witnesses! Precious witnesses!" That did it for me. I cried for much of the time.
It was hard to take it all in. There were an estimated 250,000 to 300,000 people marching for life and for that I am so grateful to have been a part of it. A.Ma.Zing. Yes, I know. I already said that.
I saw some newspapers that printed the customary photos of strife between the prochoicers and prolifers. Honestly I only saw maybe six signs that read Keep Abortion Legal. Can we say OUTNUMBERED?
I shall never forget as long as I live the feeling of being in Washington, D.C. to stand for LIFE. I want to thank the person that made it possible for me and my WI girls to go. You know who you are.

Friends in the Fight

Hi Jill Stanek!! I am proud to be part of the Mod Squad on Jill's blog, Pro-Life Pulse.Eileen Smith's daughter Laura Hope Smith was killed by an abortionist. Eileen is a precious warrior!
My sweet friend. The movie 22 Weeks is based on her experience and of her son Rowan. She fought to save Rowan after he was born alive during a late term abortion.

Interview

I gave my abortion testimony this morning on Day Gardener's radio show. I thought it went well. I hope and pray that God will use the interview to touch others and they will come forward with their abortion regret to find healing and walk this journey with me and others like me.
